Top 20 finalists of Miss Universe-Laos announced
 
Miss Universe Lao Project-2022 announced its top 20 finalists last week. The public is being encouraged to cheer and vote for them.
The contestants are being trained by well-known coaches to work on their inner and outer selves ahead of the Miss Universe pageant.
The top 20 finalists were introduced to the public after a press conference at Crowne Plaza Vientiane. Dressed in blue the contestants sashayed down a stage showing off their perfectly toned bodies amid loud cheering from the audience.
An official from Miss Universe Laos Project explained the significance of such contests. She said this contest would open a chance for Lao’s beautiful girls to represent their country abroad and promote Laos’ culture on the international stage.
Miss Universe Laos-2021 Tonkham Phonechanheuang shared her experiences about last year’s contest. She encouraged the contestants to prepare well for the regional and international competitions.
The press conference was attended by Lao celebrities, former Miss Universe-Laos contestants, and the sponsors of the show.

The final round of this prestigious contest will take place on October 8 at Crowne Plaza Vientiane where the next Miss Universe Laos 2022 will be crowned.
