Miss Teen Laos contest to return this year

The Miss Teen pageant will resume this year in Laos and around the globe after being put off due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Director of the Miss Teen Laos Organisation, Ms Chanphonemany Sottavong, said she was excited to announce the good news that Miss Teen Laos 2022 will be back with a new theme that is brighter.
The Power Creation Company will work in collaboration with Kaona Modelling Agency and various sponsors to organise the contest this year.
Ms Chanphonemany said, “Miss Teen Laos 2021 will change its name to Miss Teen Laos 2022, while the concept of the competition will still be ‘shining star to the period’.”
“With the Covid-19 situation becoming normal, we will continue the process of selecting young girls with the ability, knowledge and daring to participate in Miss Teen Laos 2022,” she said.
The various rounds of the competition will be held from July to September, and fans of the pageant and the public can follow the contestants till the winner is chosen.
“The winner of Miss Teen Laos 2022 will be the representative of young Lao ladies and speak for them across the country,” Ms Chanphonemany said.
She posted the good news about the competition on her personal Facebook page and the page for Miss Teen Laos 2022, and sought the support of the public for the contest.
