XYZ Art & Culture Centre organises exhibition to promote pencil drawings

A pencil drawing exhibition, organised by the XYZ Art & Culture Centre and Institute Francais du Laos to promote art, was inaugurated on Tuesday.
The exhibition features pencil drawings by professional and emerging artists, students and enthusiasts.
The XYZ Art & Culture Centre has invited the public to enjoy its first official exhibition, the “XYZ. P Pencil Drawing Exhibition”.
The Co-Founder and Producer of the centre, Mr Tam Khounphouvong and Ms Manithip Arlin, were present at the opening of the exhibition to explain the objectives of the event.
They said the exhibition was organised following a competition launched in May by XYZ Art & Culture Centre in partnership with the Institute Francais du Laos. The exhibition will be open   from 9 am to 6 pm during June 21-23, and the entry is free.
The opening ceremony attracted people from different fields, including Lao celebrities, artists and designers.
They urged their fans and the public to visit the exhibition to support the artists whose artworks are featured in this exhibition.
Officials from the Lao Fashion Week and Lao Young Designers Project, Ms Viengkham Nanthavongdouangsy and Mr Somsanouk Mixay, members of the Lao Young Designers Project and Lao pop singer Aluna Thavonsouk also attended the opening ceremony.
They all appreciated the opportunity to promote this pencil drawing exhibition.
Mr Tam and Ms Manithip thanked everyone who attended the opening ceremony and made it a success.
